OUR OWN OPRAH

I watched you per chance on Mbokodo Soweto TV. I was blown away in every way. I suspect you are from another planet. You are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, full of energy and yet so down to earth. You are a superb communicator. I salute you; knowing that you most definitely have received numerous acknowledgements and praises. I almost wanted to side step adding my voice of congrats. You are good girl! God bless and keep you for Africa and the world.

I had a pleasure of being at bible study Wednesday night and you blessed me beyond words.

Tumi, I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation today at Beasley Middle School, Palatka Florida.  Your delivery was so engaging that I lost all track of time. By any measure you are a very effective speaker and author. I found your comments regarding change especially intriguing “if we want change we need to be the change we want to see”!  I look forward to reading your book.

On behalf of Communities In Schools of Northeast Florida and myself, thank you for a memorable presentation and hope you will visit us again.

Tumi Frazier is one of the young best communicators, motivators and inspirers that young

South Africans can relate with.

Most importantly, South Africans are proud of Tumid and the amount of work that she does and continues to do in communities.

As a young black female, born and residing is South Africa (Gauteng) I am positively challenged by Tumi’s achievements and ongoing growth.

It is certainly up-lifting to see a young and yummy (“with-it” /and relevant) mommy

 achieving beyond average.

That certainly ignites something internally in every individual to search within oneself and stretch oneself beyond complacencies and comfort zones and reach out for one’s dreams/goal.

I first met Tumi Frazier in 2009 when she addressed a Tshekamo Productions woman’s forum on the challenges facing ambitious women trying to balance their family lives and attain recognition in business.  This was a moving experience – Tumi created a safe environment before encouraging meaningful participation from her audience in what developed into a very emotional subject with women openly relating the injustices they had endured.

I was entranced – Watching a true professional skillfully control and guide a large audience with empathy for almost an hour – She still managed to end responsibly on a positive note leaving everyone feeling empowered.

I next experienced Tumi at the Alexander Forbes Ltd Woman’s Day celebrations – Invited to speak to over 200 professional women in the Financial Services Industry and promote her book “Your Moment”.

Self assured and relaxed – This dynamic lady urges her listeners to seize the moment and build a solid future without the guilt that so many women suffer  -  She interacts deeply into her audience and invites participation – charming all by sincerely acknowledging each person’s offering (Often with great humour).

A great communicator – Feedback from attendees after a 30 minute stint -  HER TALK WAS TOO SHORT – WHEN IS SHE COMING BACK AGAIN?

Thank you so much for your motivational session at Wits University. It is encouraging to realise that not all is lost when one realises that we are still BLESSED with people of your calibre in South Africa and the World - people like the Biblical character of Joseph who realise that everyone has a talent/passion implanted by GOD inside them and they only need to unearth it, present it with uncompromising BUT disciplined diligence to the world.

Tumi, it is clear that meeting you has been extremely beneficial to my professional life and in particular that aspect as an author. You extended my frontiers of knowledge in a manner I would not have imagined. Not only that, you did something that many people will thank you for. The passion and eloquence with which you spoke about what you do and what you love most - your profession has been protected. You have indeed managed to preserve its dignity in mine eyes. Until I met you, I made little distinction between your profession and motivational speaking, which I have always cynically referred to as ‘emotional speaking’.

You afforded me a new and fresh perspective.

Tumi’s delivery to the audience was professional, engaging and interactive. She appealed to the intellect of both the learners and adults without losing their concentration. Throughout her talk Tumi displayed attributes of sincerity, expansive knowledge in the topic she had chosen (Your Moment: To change your life…change your patterns) and moved the audience to laughter when it called for it.  Her approach was refreshing, in that it gave the learners hope that someone still so young had achieved so much and still aspired to achieving much more.

The feedback received about Tumi’s talk was nothing short of amazing. Both parents and learners had the opportunity of meeting and talking to Tumi after the graduation ceremony, and they appreciated how approachable she was and her humility.

First National Bank Commercial would not hesitate in inviting Tumi to come back to address staff, learners or audiences from all walks of life….she has something to say!
